Description

Meet the 2027 Polaris 650 RMK® SP 155—your excuse to aim for the steep line, take the long way back, and call it “route planning.” Built with a mountain mindset and wrapped in a sharp White Lightning / Gloss Black / Orange Burst look, this RMK doesn’t just show up in the parking lot—it announces itself, then promptly disappears into the trees.

At the heart of it is the Patriot™ 650, a liquid-cooled, 2-cylinder, 2-stroke built in a horizontal in-line layout with reed-valve induction and fuel injection. It sips regular fuel (with oil injection handling the messy stuff), and when you want extra punch at elevation or on a climb that’s starting to look like a dare, it’s turbocharged and ready to play. Starting is old-school simple with a pull start—because when you’re deep in the backcountry, simple can be a superpower. Power feeds through a continuously variable (CVT) setup with belt drive, with a P-85 / TEAM LWT clutch system translating throttle input into that satisfying, instant surge. And yes—reverse is on board for those “maybe I should rethink this line” moments.

The MATRYX aluminum frame keeps things purpose-built for mountain riding while staying light on its feet at a 432 lb dry weight. With an overall length of 132 inches and a 43.4-inch width, it’s sized to feel stable when you want it—yet still eager to pivot when the trail ends and the terrain gets creative. The adjustable ski stance (36 to 38 inches) lets you dial in how planted or how playful you want the front end to feel.

Up front, independent A-arm suspension with RMK® React™ geometry and 9 inches of travel helps the sled track cleanly and stay composed when the snow goes from silky to chopped up. Adjustable gas IFP shocks from Polaris handle both front and rear duties, with coil-over support and shock-mounted adjustment so you can fine-tune for conditions without turning the ride into a science project.

Out back, the RMK rear suspension delivers 16 inches of travel and runs a two-shock setup, again with adjustable Polaris IFP components and a matching center shock—built to keep the track driving forward when the climb gets long and the snow gets deep. Speaking of deep: the Series 8 track stretches 155 inches long and 15 inches wide, with a big 2.75-inch lug height designed to grab, lift, and claw for traction when the mountains stop being polite.

Steering comes via a ProTaper™ handlebar, manually controlled and paired with a thumb throttle—classic, intuitive, and easy to modulate when you’re threading through tight trees or setting up for a sidehill. Plastic Gripper® skis with carbide skags help the front end bite when you need precision, while RMK® hydraulic disc braking brings everything back under control when gravity gets ideas.

Creature comforts stay smart and rider-focused: a low, one-piece vinyl seat keeps movement easy; heated, adjustable grips help you keep feel in your fingers; and LED lighting (with tinted treatment) keeps visibility crisp when the day runs long. You’ll also find practical callouts like a fuel gauge, a temperature warning light, plus essentials like a belt guard and snow guard. And with 11 gallons of fuel capacity, you’ve got a solid range cushion for exploring beyond the obvious.

Bottom line: this 650 RMK® SP 155 is a mountain sled that looks bold in White Lightning / Gloss Black / Orange Burst, feels precise when you’re picking lines, and stays lively when the terrain turns into a playground. Bring your best snow—and your sense of adventure.
